Scaling Up While Staying Connected

A key focus this year has been scaling up: we’ve worked hard to ensure we cover even more hectares in 2025, bringing our forecasting tools to an every-growing community of growers. As we expand, our commitment to maintaining close relationships with our farmers remains stronger than ever. Supporting our growers in addressing their farm-specific challenges lies at the core of our mission. Whether it’s enhancing yield forecasting accuracy, reducing food waste, or offering tailored guidance for success, we’re dedicated to providing solutions that drive meaningful results for UK growers.

Welcoming Dr. Jacobus Lock

We’ve experienced significant growth this year, welcoming new experts from the agricultural community who have strengthened FruitCast’s capabilities in 2024. In November, we were thrilled to welcome Dr. Jacobus Lock as our Chief Information Officer. With extensive experience in robotics software, Dr. Lock will play a pivotal role in enhancing our yield forecasting tools, enabling us to cover more hectares and support even more farmers across the UK in 2025. As the face of our customer engagement moving forward, he is prepared to lead our team into a new exciting chapter.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we step into 2025, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. Our goals for the year are clear: to expand our reach by covering even more hectares, onboarding more customers, and enhancing their experience with seamless farm management through our portal. A key focus remains reducing berry waste, increasing market resilience and margin, ensuring resources are used more efficiently, and helping growers achieve greater sustainability.

By supporting UK farmers with accurate yield forecasting, we aim to strengthen their operations and foster positive relationships between growers, their retailers and ultimately the customers. With exciting new releases and a strong commitment to innovation, we look forward to another year of driving progress in agriculture and delivering exceptional value to our partners. Together, we’re ready to make it a game-changing year!
